Survive -- summer 2005 | drawn in many different places | taking a very very hand-explodingly long time
A life climbs out of a shoe.
This is not your world. This is not mine.
This is something in between, when every emotion comes together.
Maybe only for a moment.
This is unfilled space, a sweaty mushroom, chunky love, food, hatred, a key that leads us on a bumpy-lumpy road to the end, today, tomorrow, time, now, your face, your cuticles, broken guitar strings, and piles upon piles of wobbly things stacked upon each other, living life like nothing else mattered.
MEDIA: Medium ball-point-pen and 0.01, 0.1, 0.5 ink pens on Paper.
Jessie you are such a talented pencil artist!
This is just so lovely! So much detail! I love the handwriting on the piece of paper.
And the butterfly... hehe I keeplooking back up in between comenting... and I just realized the fork haha <333 so many hidden details.
You've invented your own style <3
You know what the handwriting says? It was the "a Letter" poem. The poem about childhood. [link]
Thanks a million Kim. I'm gunna spank you a million times.
This took half a year to make. I left it alone for like 2 months, then did some on and off working, and then I did half of it during the summer. The time it took is eye-flossing.

The details on this drawing are amazing!! I love the guitar in the lower, right-hand corner. It's definately a very nice touch... beautiful! Wow... the sneaker in the opposite corner is very awesome, I love the star's design... and the egg. I really like the mushroom in the other corner, it looks really yummy... Wonderful work, Jessie!! It's really fantastic how you both draw AND write...
I think one of the biggest reasons how this picture got stuck together is that I can spend one hour doing the smallest thing ever without plopping up to do something else....
This picture took.. over 30 hours, and it was finished in the course of half a year of refusing-to-start-drawing. But when I did start, it took me forever to stop. So yeah.
Thank you, anyways.

this is a cool composition I like the guitar string/hand effect plus the written segment over the guitar is very immersive toward a past love interest or something similar (that is what it instills in my mind anyway..) a cool piece although I think there are some ~slight~ balance issues
