All of us jolly deviants have begininnings. This is my beginning.

My first "real" commitment of bringing ugly photo pixels to life. All with the undying aid of my best friend, adobe photoshop elements 2.0.

The amount of time I dropped on these tightened pixels is disgusting. I will learn to manage my time. Properly. Starting now. Yes. Hopefully.
The wasting of time is the most remorseless sin of all. It is bad for me. Therefore I will learn to manage my time. Properly. Starting now. Yes. Hopefully.

This is the rather depressing, yet relaxing result of all that spread out time; devoted to lazily pondering and experimenting with random stock photos, carelessly throwing layers here and there in dark corners, straining to keep my mouse walking, as it's wire gets annoyingly tangled around the speakers, and the long long google search for satisfying brushes.

"The Reason" - Hoobastank is an amazing song. That's why I'm fond of it. That's why it found it's way spilling out of the guitar hole. And that's why it easily became the first choice of a name for this first photo manipulation of mine.

Noting the ugly amount of time I spent creating this, as it originally was a site layout, I decided to make it into my first deviation as well. Go me!

This is awesome art. Your gallery is wonderful, really digging the style. The colour tones are nice and even and although the guitar's positioning might be slightly awkward, the writing going across the instrument is a great touch

Aww.. thank you. I just felt like the guitar had to scream something, other than "blue guitar," so I resorted to words. Yes! Words. And thank you for making me realize that that idea flew in nicely. Yes. :sun:

Wow, beautifully put together! I love the contrast between the bright orange butterflies and the blue tones of the rest of the picture. And of course, the song lyrics are awesome. Yay, Hoobastank!! ^__^

I decided to comment on your first ever deviation.

You've gotten quite a bit better, which is really saying something because this is pretty damn good.
Its just not as good as the stuff you make now, not by any means.
You sure do know how to grow.
